INTUITIVE RECORDS - IRDG010

Welcome to the Jubilee concert! You may deepen out the knowledge of the Stockhausen pieces and enjoy some new aspects of the groups' composing and playing.

O1 Night Music (Karlheinz Stockhausen, 1968) Night Music is from the collection of text-notated pieces called From the Seven Days. And it belongs to the kind requiring that the musician creates distinctly different motivic figures. In other pieces the units may be smaller or larger parts of the universe - but here there are only two. They are called "the rhythm of dreaming" and "the rhythm of the universe". And they are not just presented, but the musician is to dwell on gradual changes between them - several times. An explodingly meditative piece...

02 Madison Music (Lekfeldt, 1976) You may see the piece here.

03 Sedna (Vincze, 2004) You may see the piece here.

04 Opportunities (Bergstroem-Nielsen 2000) You may see the piece here.

05 Sporet (The Track - Lekfeldt 2004) Played by Helene Jerg, cello solo. This is a long piece allowing for arranging the pages in an order ad libitum and with diversified notation.
