FRAMEWORKS 1 - NOTES AND PERFORMANCE HISTORY



The Frameworks series cultivates the idea of putting possibly interesting "obstacles" to otherwise free improvisation. They all employ the same kind of notation, which designates various durations of sections. There is an aim to "sharpen" the improvising process by focusing on transitions - HOW one gets from one section to another one.
