PROGRAMME DIMC 2009


Note: As ever, this is a proposal. The programme is not very tight. This was made so in order to make sure we can keep it. Those who wish are, however, encouraged to take initiative and play more in between as well as in early morning. ("Early birds": please go to the room with electric instruments opposite the kitchen to avoid waking up others ;-)

THURSDAY AUGUST 6th
17.30 - 18.30 Arrival, housing
18.30 - 20.30 Dinner (pizza)
20.30 - 23.00 Playing sessions (Tutti introduction by Corinna, followed by random groups, entirely open to participants' initiatives)



FRIDAY AUGUST 7th
09.30 - 10.30 Breakfast
10.45 - 11.15 Tutti playing session: Jeanette's experiment with wood.

11.30 - 12.30 Playing sessions (Three or two groups simultaneously, one with Corinna's Feldenkrais-inspired improvisation exercises, the rest open to participants' initiatives – free improvisation, and also possible to propose themes in advance)

13.30 - 14.30 Lunch
15.00 - 16.30 Playing sessions (Three or two groups simultaneously, open to participants' initiatives – free improvisation, and also possible to propose themes in advance)

16.45 - 18.30 Tutti recordings listening session

19.15 - 21.00 Dinner
21.00 - 22.30 Concert session (different groups/soloists play for each other)

 

SATURDAY AUGUST 8th

From this point on, no pre-arranging of groups by the organisers. Find out yourselves what you need to do!

9.30 -10.30 Breakfast

10.45-11.15 Tutti playing session: Jeanette's experiment with wood.

11.30 -1230 Playing sessions (as you find appropriate)

1330-1430 Lunch

1430-1900 Free time (one may organize playing as one likes, try out compositions and the like together with others who played them before, go to listening room, or do other things)

19-21 Dinner

21-2215 Conference Discussion

SUNDAY AUGUST 9th
09.30 - 10.30 Breakfast
10.45 - 12.00 Playing session (as you find appropriate)

13.00 - 14.30 Lunch; General Assembly
15.00 - 16.00 Playing session (as you find appropriate)

16.00 - 17.00 Clearing, cleaning up
